Procedure Description

Serf Lifting uses two types of monopolar radiofrequency (RF), 6.78MHz and 2MHz, to non-invasively target and stimulate the skin from the shallow to deep layers, inducing collagen regeneration. Carefully set 3-level depth control (Shallow-Middle-Deep) allows for delicate thermal energy regulation, aiding in wrinkle improvement and skin tightening. As collagen in the skin is restructured, improvements in reduced elasticity, fine wrinkles, and enlarged pores can be expected. Furthermore, the overall facial contour is refined, creating a smoother and more defined silhouette.

Precautions

Redness, swelling, or slight pain may occur after the procedure, but these symptoms are temporary.

Redness and swelling may occur immediately after the procedure, but generally subside within a few hours. Since there is no visible skin damage, washing the face, applying makeup, and going out are generally fine.

If the treated skin is slightly pink or red, refrain from washing or showering with hot water until the redness subsides.

Avoid skincare or peeling treatments that expose the skin to high temperatures for about one week after the procedure.

When going out, we recommend using sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to prevent sun damage.

Is the pain severe?

SERF Lifting is equipped with a cooling system to lower the temperature of the skin surface, resulting in relatively less pain and no downtime. For sensitive skin, slight redness or heat sensation may occur but usually disappears within a few hours.

What is the difference from Thermage?

Thermage is an RF lifting procedure using a 6.78MHz wavelength, whereas SERF uses two wavelengths, 6.78MHz and 2MHz, allowing simultaneous management of both the inner and outer skin layers. Additionally, the tip size of SERF Lifting is larger than Thermage, enabling more energy delivery per shot.
